Love the style of these old-fashioned legs. They would be more work to walk on though, I'm sure of that, and much harder to pretend that they are a real leg - which is after all the whole point, isn't it - to make them stand out!

Yeah. When I saw that the foot is too big and that it looks overall a bit bulky I thought that this would make a nice pretender prosthesis.

I do agree with the comments about size, but I'm sure that's a minor tweek.
Edit: Just been looking back at your original brief with this, and your aim was to go with the older leg style, in which case, you've cracked it, apart from scale.

Nice render, but the leg looks like it was made for a male amputee - it's too big (especially the lower part and the foot).
Nevertheless, I like the old exo design and I like the direction you are going with it.

I should just shut up, but you keep asking.
I think it looks great, and much better in my opinion than a pylon or c-leg.
It is an old-fashioned one however, which is great and I can't see too much of. There are more modern alternatives though, some much more simple foam sleeves over the c-leg, having a good cosmetic appearance but all the functionality of a c-leg. They look fairly convincing under a pair of tights (pantyhose), but tend to crease at the knee a little unnaturally, bend with an obvious lack of kneecap. I think they are cool too, and more realistic for a newer amp.
This is bloody great though, I hinted at it before, but I love your headspace on these issues, and your ability to then make it come to life in an image.
Edit: Can I also add, the dress really suits both the leg, and the character, with her warm but questioning innocence.

Have you seen a "dedicated" cosmetic cover for the C-leg/Genium knees?
I think it looks very nice around the knee cap area.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I had in mind. A little failed subtlety, better in my opinion than in your face.

Yes, but kudos to them for trying (that stocking doesn't look good though).

Yeah, I love that. I really like the type AmputeeArt has done here, brilliant. Both ideas are equally perfect in my eye.
Can;t wait to see how AmputeeArt progresses with this stuff.

Thanks.
A cosmetic cover that just is too smooth around the knee should be easy to do for me I will try.
