Goodness gracious me, did this one just kinda explode.
This started out as one of those little warm-up doodles before getting back to my final project for my Background Design & Layout class, but then I started having too much fun. Probably wasn't helping that I was blaring Judas Priest while doing it...
So it's the Legendary Godzilla girl that I drew before (still working on her name) introducing her fist to the face of a Zarkorr-based girl that I drew the other day for a quick joke/design practice. Now for those of you (and I'll wager that's gonna be a big number) who have never heard of Zarkorr before, he is the monster in the low-budget flick from '96 titled "Zarkorr: The Invader". If I'm being nice, I'll say the movie leaves a LOT to be desired, but at the very least the monster looks pretty cool and actually has a pretty interesting back story.

But man, if that all ain't ruined by the cheese-fest that is the rest of the...being nice, being nice.

So his main thing is that he's sent to different planets by some high-up alien council as a means to test their "worthyness" or something, and he tests 'em by destroying the planet and being nigh unbeatable. The only thing that can stop him is himself. But rather than attack his self-worth and ego, that planet's chosen champion has to find a way to utilize the one tool necessary to kill Zarkorr, and that is a special shield that reflects his own eye beams back at him. Once destroyed, his essence or whatever is recollected by the aliens and the process is repeated et cetera, et cetera. Aside from all of that coolness, he likes to roar a lot, which wouldn't be an issue so much 'cept for that his roar is just the T-rex roar from Jurassic Park used over and over again. So taking all of that in, I thought of a character that'd be pretty arrogant and overly confident about their immense power and invulnerability; someone who'd chat your ears off in-between beatings. And why not? If the only thing that can stop you is yourself, what have you to fear?

Well, Zarkorr has never met Godzilla before...
