Another 300 reference..."Drop pods keep falling on my head".
Turned out more climatic than I'd pictured the comic in my head, but I guess that isn't such a big deal.
I've always seen the drop pods as transports that burn through the atmosphere at the speed of a meteor and able to do some damage before the marines emerge from them to add to the mayhem. Blitzkrieg, I like the sound of that word...
