Did you base this on a fairy tale by any chance ?? I believe its called" faery tales and nightmares by Melissa Marr" : theirs a story about a girl and a wolf that takes place in winter you should read it !!

I have a story that I half-wrote that this reminds me of. It has a female lead character based on my girlfriend, who happens to resemble yours, and there's a white wolf too! How weird.
