Wish I had time for digital art with this one so I could experiment with coloring :'3
I've made this over the past week adding little sketches to try and tone down details in order to make her design more suitable for a comic. SO basically I started in the upper left, moved over to the colored sketch, then started taking away spikes and experimenting with how I could draw things simple, like hand/claws.
If you're planning on drawing Shade, please refer to this for her head and neck!! She only has three spikes now, and two bumps (one on the top of her head, and one below the three spikes) and her scales have been turned into a bumpy pattern^^ If you want colors, refer to my chibi art of her here for now-->fav.me/ddk7liz

What color are her eyes?

I like to draw her teeth sticking outwards when her mouth is open all the way, but if it's a grin then it doesn't :'3
her ears have been clipped so scales, but cut scales.
her eyes are red now
find whatever is comfortable for you!
