I liked using it in Colors but I hated using it in Generations because of those stupid gear sections.

Spikes is PRETTY useful. Providing you have enough time to go all around the complex of walls, you can eventually find your way out.

i love Spikes. probably because he uses Sonic's old spindash (which i have no objections over...) and it makes for going through a line of enemies so much easier... but, that's just me.

Well Pink Spikes finish rather easily if you boost. So it's better to go slow if you're on this form.
