Hello all, here is a picture I did especially in honor of CathernaLeafwing, one of my most loyal watchers: her favorite character, Whitestorm! This is also a picture I am going to submit to a "First Arc" contest for the group "TheWarriorClan".I tried out three or more new shading and fur techniques on poor little Whitestorm here...he's kind of an experiment in and of himself XD. I really like how the inside of his ear looks, and I am looking forward to trying that shading style out on a full cat picture in the future.

Thanks! I think it might be red and green, but yeah I've heard that too. I was thinking about doing a scourge Halloween piece, with him all black and blue fur, and the background orange with crows or something...I'm still thinking about it.

The black background allows Whitestorm to stand out. I love his golden, realistic eye in particular and the details within his ear. Thank you for your submission to Contest!

ooh, I really like this! The black background really makes Whitestorm's fur stand out immensely and I adore how you made his eye appear so very piercing and intense. A skillful touch; using half of a face instead of a whole one, it had a nice effect.

Yes, definitely! I was torn about whether or not to do a black background; I didn't want it to look lazy, but I liked how the white fur stood out...I think the decision I made was for the best ^^ Your comments are always much appreciated Monsieur Pearin.
