I see the one. The tree is both cheerful and also melancholic.

It is not entirely mine, it comes from one of Hawthorne's tales called "the May-Pole of Merry Mount". It is a short, sad, but somehow hopeful short story.. I think you should read that one, or any other from that author, he is really good. Besides, your picture remainds me taht story so much!

You will tell me if you like them later. Be careful; he is a 19th century writer, so the writing style is a little bit old fashioned. And he is obsessed with guilt, sin, death and love.

fantastique! love it! ...those wild intense colors... this is better than ever! it's so full of fabulous stuff (as in 'stuff of dreams', that is) ...and just how big is the original? - to get a better idea of what this actually is that we're looking at, you know? a magnificent celebration of may!

Thank you Hugh. I honestly didn't find this one very easy to do, my creativites at a low ebb, but I forced myself to finish it today and although i don't really think its one of my best, maybe it'll grow on me. I like trees. I'm a tree huggin' hippy at heart!

well, it must be only your judgment at an ebb, just believe me this is good! really good!
and besides ...maybe that's what's so special about it - kind of looks to me like it could be from the heart
