A wee green painting I did a month ago, and found in my art bag again yesterday.The Lost Sphinx
Acrylic ink and gold pen on 20 x 15cm cartridge paper.

Well the Sphinx is sitting in profile view across the lower half the picture. You can see her back as it swoops under the yellow, sitting proudly defying her lostness... I'm glad you like the colours. They pop nicely in this one.

Super. I love your details. Always fanciful.
I bought some gold and some silver acrylic paint this morning.
My daughter-in-law wants a painting for her birthday because a couple of years back she gave me some tubes and I had a go.
I painted sea with waves and froth on rocks and some trees on the land.
It was VERY amateur but I enjoyed it.
