Description
I reworked the piece titled, "Fear of Useless Limbs" from 2005. link I really liked the figures, but the background was horrible. I also reworked the skin now that I am gaining a better understanding of acrylics.Acrylic on Canvas : 18" x 22"

I like this one! It's similar to the one of your grand mother. The old background wasn't so bad either, I did like the voodoo doll on the floor. But I know what you mean...the new one is beautiful! I thought i'd faved this one already, glad I saw it through painter's.

Thanks! I really struggled with the old background. When the new one came along, it was like a breath of fresh air!

Great painting
At first it didn't catch my eyes, but the more I look it and the more I like it.
Great lighting, colors and I love the patterns too

Yes, that one and Worm Wine started about the same time. I can't remember which came first.

Both background are good. But I love the other one...It puts the madona and her baby in a different structure. Well done

i havbe always liked those mutant gerbera daisys. I have some paisley tattoos. i wish i had gotten all paisley sometimes. to be more decorative and not s symbolic. i like the forms on your "madonna"... the sence of pattern is quite interesting especially the stripey baby outfit, flowing from her hair (visualy).

The flower is referenced from a mutant Green Eyed Susan. I found it in my garden last year and love the symbolisms that can go with it.
I bet the paisley tattoos are beautiful! I am getting my first one on July 1st. Andy Ringo from Evolved Tattoo in Columbus will be doing the work. Not sure what the image is yet, but it is inspired by a bird.
Thanks!

Wow, that's spectacular. I love the bright colors and the expressions on there faces. Great job, I am an awful painter so when I see your's and *Bernardumaine 's paintings it just astoundes me how brilliant and smooth everything is. This one is no exception.

Thanks! I used gold paint on he woman's clothing so the pattern also has a nice sheen. I also used interferance green on the background pattern's edge.
