Sooo... who's in love with Hazel? Gawd, Hazel and Frank PAWN Piper and Jason.(And Percy is back which is just plain awesomesauce. Rick, why d'ya leave him out for A WHOLE BOOK? He was obviously too awesome to be left out, you silly silly man)
I haven't finished SoN yet, because I'm sick. When the words started to blur on the page and I felt like nothing made any sense at all, I decided to let it be for the time being.
Instead, I've been spreading my germs on my tablet. *shrug*
This seems pretty cool to me right now, but I am ill, so everything either seems tragic or awesome.

I hate Piper, I like Hazel soo much more! And with Jason, he didn't have a personality, so I thought 'maybe he just forgot it?' But percy was still his smart-ass self even with no memory, so, Rick kinda fail on those two points. I like Reyna a lot too. I wanted her to be the daughter of Mars but her godly parent is close enough. I'm just glad she's a badass. I hope she beats the crap out of Piper. Can people not spoil the ending of the book for me, I have about 200 pages left, so if anyone dies KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

Agreed! Percy is back, the characters are back to Rick's level of believable/You-can-live-with-and-or-enjoy-hearing-the-character's-EVERY-THOUGHT.
Honestly, I could barely read Jason and Piper's parts in the book. Leo was nice, though.
And Frank and Hazel are brilliant!
(And Annebeth will finally be getting her own book, if I'm right- the title of the next book is about Athena's child so...Let's hope so!)

Agh, have you gotten to the part in (don't worry, I'll write it in non-spoiling way) where Percy is talking to a Monster (no specifics, see?) and the monster says, "Yes, Gaia hates you most of all. Expect, perhaps, for Jason Chance."
Really, monster? Percy has foiled her plan, repeatedly; he fought Ares, and the King of the Titans. How in the world could she hate Jason Chance more?
Sorry, ranting. Leo was brillaint, and Annabeth should hopefully (likely) be having her own book! YES! And maybe Grover'll reappear...(Unless I'm forgetting what happened to him?)

I've finished it, and I thought that too! I mean, wtf??? Why would you hate Jason as much as Percy? Percy is SO much more badass! Jason always seems a bit clueless, plus... Percy is a better name D:
Leo freaked me out at the end of SoN... I mean, what? lol
And I get what you mean about Annabeth having a book... It's called the Mark of Athena or something, isn't it? Annabeth POV would be great though! We never really know what she's thinking!

Yeah, Jason is sort of "Clueless causes problem, then solves it by stabbing something and making a cheesy dramatic speech" and then Percy is "Clever, caught in problem not his doing, solves it in a creative way, then makes an AWESOME dramatic speech."
Wait, what if grover was taken to another camp with no memory...what if Grover is the leader of the Seven in the prophecy? 
I have no idea what the 'Leo' thing was about at the end- that was just crazy! I did not see that coming.
Oh, no romantic tension for Annabeth and Percy, please... Rick, just give us a Annabeth POV, a bit more Grover action, a lot more Percy action, and...just cut Piper and Jason out of the story for a bit. Send them off on their own quest.
