It's a tough call. To draw this, I actually taped a scythe shaped piece of paper to a yard stick to try to figure it out. This way felt the most natural with the way he's swinging it counter clockwise xD

It says something that when I see both Qrow's and Ruby's weapons...and Qrow's scythe STILL somehow looks impressive compared to it...maybe cuz it's a Triple-Changer weapon...What IS that weapon's name?

I know the show puts them as uncle and niece, but really don't see that with them.Β I see more of a father and daughter relationship between these two.

Ignoring all theories the reason they interact like father and daughter is because of what yang said "uncle qrow helped take care of us" (or something like that) literally stating or implying that qrow was basically like a father to ruby and yang

Yep you remember the second episode of the first volume where ruby explain to jaune how weapon are connected to a person aura or soul right.

Well the theory goes like this what if a child who want to be come a huntman or huntresses gets their weapons ideas from their parents maybe that's why weapon in Rwby have two or more transformation not even weapon has to have a gun function it just have to transform maybe it's traditional for a young huntman or huntresses to take their parents weapon variation idea and used them for their own weapon for example Ruby knows how to handle a sword like Qrow, right so the is question why does ruby weapon doesn't look exactly like Qrow where did the sniper rifle functions come from? Well my friend answer is Summer Rose, yes summer rose weapon could possibly be some form of a sniper rifle that means ruby subconsciously model crescent rose after Qrow and Summer weapon.
