  Basic Appearance Summary: Ajax is a brown lynx with wearing a light blue shirt with black diamond cuffs, light-grey pants, and red shoes similar to Sonic's (although the stripe is slightly different). His muzzle and inner ear are a very light tan, and his tail is extremely short (generally hidden by his clothes). His light frame often is misleading for his strength, and also allows him to be surprisingly fast.

  Biography: Jaximet "Ajax" Preston is the last living remnant of his family and bloodline, as well as the only survivor of the Blackwind Research operations, where he was tortured in attempts to learn about ancient beings referred to as Archons. The compound they operated in was also where his family died at the hands of the Blackwind scientists when he was only 14. Over the total course of 7 years, he suffered from over 319 different 'tests'. Due to his sheer hatred for his captors, he would often struggle free and hurt them whenever possible.
  Before he gave in, the operations were stopped by a military squad from the Mobian Dominion, who had been searching for the Blackwind scientists for months after they had begun assisting local bandits in exchange for resources. When they found him, they quickly escorted him to safety and patched him up. Being the only survivor, the Dominion's leader, Hackel Warfield, took great interest in him when he immediately offered to be a Dominion field medic. Early on during his training, however, he could often be heard screaming as he re-lived the events of Blackwind. After a combination of medical treatment and counseling, he eventually returned to his studies.
  He excelled during training, showing unparalleled knowledge of anatomy, and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming one of Hackel's closest friends and an elite Red Sentinel Squadron operative. He is often credited as a savior within the Dominion military, having saved roughly 73 lives from 'fatal' wounds with his medical prowess. After serving for 6 years, he left to live alone in the nearby forests, although he still has his Red Sentinel uniform and equipment locked away should he ever be called back into service.

Now he lives in a wooden cabin with Natasha Silders, whom he found and saved from bleeding out after an unfortunate rock climbing accident 19 months ago. It's no secret that he has grown fond of her, and he has even thought of proposing to her. He usually avoids talking about her in open conversation; he is highly protective of her as well.

  Equipment: Being a former Red Sentinel, Ajax was given the honor of keeping his equipment in return for signing himself as a permanent soldier who may be called in at any time by request of the Harbinger. This equipment consists of a specialized sniper rifle and set of now outdated Ares Power Armor. The sniper is custom built, firing rounds that most often Ajax makes himself using scrap shells and home-made materials based on his training. The power armor is a not much more than heavy duty plating on top of sophisticated mechanisms and wires; the shell it makes is extremely durable and hard to bypass, but it's inner workings are flimsy in comparison. Finally, he also has an Observer Drone, a small bot that can connect to a camera feed inside his power armor; it is also the only of it's kind to have basic sentience, a request made by Ajax so he would have something to 'socialize' with when alone on his missions.

  Medicine: Ajax prides himself on his years of medical practice, and often carries several small vials of medicine with him at all times, sometimes joking that he is a walking medicine cabinet. Almost all medicines he carries with him like this are home-made remedies, which he has developed over the years to be more and more effective. Unfortunately, these remedies require many ingredients, most of which he has to gather himself; thus, he often needs several days to make more medicine if he runs out.

  Fighting: Because of his years of service as a Red Sentinel, Ajax can be a formidable foe in combat. He always carries a pair of carbon blades, which are light-weight and tough as diamonds. He also has experience with many firearms, although he prefers sniper rifles and assault rifles. Should someone manage to disarm him, he will often become more defensive until he can either get his weapons back... or find something else to use as a weapon.
