Today I want to introduce my first WoF OC, Rosefinch, the Skywing/Mudwing hybrid. She's Clay and Peril's daughter. Her name was a suggestion by She gave me a list of Skywing names and I found this the better one. Thank you so much!!!
Anyway, first I was only imagining how an offspring of Clay and Peril would look like, so I started to do a sketch of her. I based her in Sunny's appearance, who looks more like a Sandwing like her mother than a Nightwing. So Rosefinch also looks more like a Skywing like her mother, but with Mudwing features. Her colors are also a mix between her Mudwing and Skywing heritages.
I don't even know if Clay and Peril will be together in the end (I hope soooo T.T Please, Tui, make that happen!) and I don't even know if it is phisically possible for Peril to have dragonets, since she's born with too much fire and all, but I still wanted to give it a try and imagine how their dragonet would look like
So, for now, let's pretend she's from a parallel universe.For now I don't plan on writing fanfiction about her, but maybe in the future, who knows?

Well, I didn't add much information about her because I haven't thought much about her actually. I just wanted to imagine how Peril and Clay's dragonet would look like. Perhaps one day I'll do that.

Haha thanks! Anyway, I still have OCs in which I thought more on their stories, if you want to check them out. My favorites are Celeste and Whitefire, the albino Skywing and there's also Fennec and Black Mamba (melanistic Sandwing) though I still want to work more on their stories

Man it pisses me off seeing those people stealing my art. This nevet happened in any of my other fandoms, but in Wings of Fire I had lots of my artwork stolen and it makes me so mad. This is one of the reasons I stopped to make fanart for this damned fandom.

How did you draw her? I want to do something similar for a character's sidekicks that I have. And for WOF OCs who happen to be hybrids

Well, you need to know the basics of dragon anatomy. There are lots of tutorials in the internet about dragon anatomy and stuff that might be useful. Then I just mixed up characteristcs of both tribes to make her. It seems that hybrids in Wings of Fire tend to inherit more characteristcs from their mother, though that may not always be the case, as we saw that Darkstalker and Without were pretty different, even though they were siblings.

WOW THIS LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! This is really an amazing Clay and Peril Dragonet! How old is she in this photo? Also the colors fit so perfectly Muddy brown, dark orange, yellow, she looks beautiful!

Yeah it's pretty confusing but dragons age is 3 times more than humans. for example
If I was 6 years old (like glory) she would be 18 years old. that's because 6 x 3 is 18. (Which I'm pretty sure you know lol)
