I figure that, if medical science (and beauty standards), allowed people to be as fat as they wanted, you'd see people this big in their 20s. A pound of fat is equivalent to 3500 calories, and a consistently wonton glutton could probably manage 10,000 to 50,000 calories per day of intake to manage over half a ton or more of weigh gain annually.
I'm my mind, the girl in the picture here is probably gaining a little less than 3 pounds per day, at this stage. Her tattoo says she gained 664lbs. between her 24th and 25th birthday. Her MassTrekker (the wristwatch thingy) estimates her current weight at 4,352.3lbs. It's close to her birthday, so she gained 842lbs. since she turned 25, for an average of 2.3 pounds per day...
