I'm trying to use dA as a filter of sorts. The original file I made was created with a freeware program that encoded the GIF in a way that Photoshop goes all derpy about opening. Here's hoping I can make something more polished by re-downloading from a web page...Related content

I was just thinking of possibly changing my avatar. After discovering how severely I'd have to degrade the color palette and reduce the framerate, I'm probably not going to do it. This 15Kb maximum for avatar files is killing me.

Just go get Animation Shop 3, much easier to work with.

Well, it what I wanted to do goes beyond just animation. Color adjustment, lighting filers, removing the couch and wall from the background, and then looping it. Animation Shop may be able to handle most of it, but getting the background out is a work of editing all 123 frames individually.
Also, it turns out that this file was just too damn large. I had to cut the duration down to 20 seconds.
