Note: This is the first time I've used Photoshop, After Effects and Source filmmaker for one project... So yeah... that's pretty cool I guess.

Your animations are always so impressive. They must take forever to edit!

Yessss, it's definitely my favourite TV show. Dare I say... I like it more that Game of Thrones (even though GoT is absolutely brilliant, pls don't kill me internet)

Like in live action? Eek, I can't imagine how awkward that would be to organise/ film.

No I mean do exactly what you do with these gifs, just make them into a full length video. I'm sure it'd be a pain in the ass but it would be amazing once it's finished.

These last two animations are absolutely "Majestic" (as berggie mentioned). Just superb.
My mind has absolutely been blown by the amazing strides made by the community in the field of these 'moving collages'. Beyond impressive, especially in the attention to detail which is by now one of the calling cards of your work.
Wish I had critiques to give, but as usual all I can say is keep up the amazing work. If you keep pushing the limits like you are now, I tremble to think of what will come next.
Best,
Ash Β

Thanks as always!
Not sure what my next breakthrough will be. I've been meaning to get my head down and just start rendering out crowds in source filmmaker to put into my collages, but I've been a bit lazy about itΒ Β . I've also been thinking about copying what docop occasionally does and lightly adding some animation to traditional collages.

Copying Docop is always a smart move in my book

Terrible. I don't know why you bother to keep making these when you clearly aren't good at it. Just stop already... lol, seriously though, another excellent work. I hope to see some more soon!

haha, you had me there for a sec ^_^. Hopefully I'll come across some more rotoscopable footage to use in future, fingers crossed.

in fact, the giantess of sunbathing 2 is smaller than sunbathing 1

I can die happy now, sonΒ Β So, with this, we can guess what happened with the monster from Cloverfield and why there's not a second film Β
Btw, I was wondering when were you going to use a helicopter for your animations and how you were going to insert them there... the SFM option was a good idea!

haha thanks! Not sure why I didn't think about doing it earlier, it's not hard to make it look photorealistic when it's so small.

When are they going to do that totally-out-of-place-but-awesome dream sequence of Maggie going all giantess pre-outbreak in The Walking Dead? Β I mean, it's totally on the cards, right? ... right? *puppy dog eyes*
Another great job! Β You're getting so very good at these! Β How difficult was the source video to work with? Β Was it mostly a roto job, or was there a lot of blue sky behind her to act as a key (especially for the hair?) Β

Thanks!
I think the totally-out-of-place-edness might hinder the chances of that happening. But...
This is by far the most challenging roto job I've done since her hair was infront of a dark grey rock that wasn't giving enough contrast for the roto-brush, so what you see here is the result of a lot of fiddling with masks. Also I wanted it to loop but her hair looked weird floating off when I reversed it so I had to do a looot of fiddling around with the puppet-pin tool on the arm and head. The results are hardly seamless but it looks a lot better than the alternative.Β
