it is a hoopoe....
i don;t really know what that is, someone on DA told me that it is called a hoopoe, i used to think it is a woodpecker....

i will also have to get some books for insects.... BTW i am actually really interested in photographing insects...
for animals and bird i have got enough help(both my parents are vets)....

I like to take pictures of insects too, but I don't have any lens that are good enough yet.
All I have is a 18-55mm lens that came with the camera ^^

Oh that's nice, no books needed for animals and birds then ^^
