When thunder strikes again on blood soaked sand

It took me nigh on forever, but I was finally able to do a satisfactory drawing of this character--and the nice thing about digital art is that I can make two different color renditions of the same traditional line art. This is obviously the more dramatic of the two, and while I couldn't quite get the lighting right (lighting in general is something I need to work a LOT on), I'm pretty happy with the end product.

This is Herleva, who is easily one of my favorite characters I've ever written. In particular, this is Herleva being thoroughly disoriented by the wonderfully spontaneous mess that is discovering one can Counterpart and access the powers of their opposite holy order in a time of great need. Unfortunately for her, that means accessing the power of shapeshifting and rather abruptly turning into electricity.
