I really don't understand this picture. I mean, sure, it looks nice, dark (psychologically) and monochrome, but, what exactly is happening? Looking at the comments and critique bit in search of the answer just makes me feel like I'm the only one who isn't getting it, with the author comment box's elipsis laughing in my face. The picture is horizontally symmetrical for the most part, with the top dog's shadow looking slightly intimidating, but that's the most I can gather. I guess I'll never know.

I just wasn't sure if what you were saying implied that there was no actual meaning to the picture because I didn't think that what you gave was a proper answer, as you can't really feel a picture. From understanding comes feeling, but not the other way around, since right now I have no understanding as to what I'm trying to feel. So, right now, I'll just have to assume that there's no symbolism or meaning in the picture at all and leave it at that.
