I've noticed that the alien has changed throughout every sequel... I only drew three...cause that's all i could fit on one page...
the first one's from the first movie of course...
second one's from the second movie... you notice that the transparent helmet is gone at this point...
the last one's from the AVP movies... pretty stupid looking... I don't like it...
I liked the ones that were more humanlike...
they've come a long way

I prefer the behavior of the original, and the appearance of the AVPverse xenomorphs. Digitigrade is a much better look on them, I findβ¦ the plantigrade legs just make me think of crappy rubber suits.Β

the others are look good for what they are, and thats an action movie monster
but the original is a suspensful horror movie
the creature doesnt just run around and jump on people and eat them and rip shit apart with explosions in the background
its much more subtle and its look is very sleek and cleancut

First one beats them all. I guess the AR and AVP designers wanted something "cooler" looking.... I prefer "unnerving" to "cool".

I like the original's the most. Aliens' ones looked way too...armored.

I like the original look for the original movie, because it wasn't an action film. It was down-to-your-fucking-core horror movie. For the newer films, there is more of the action element, and I think the sleeker design works better. If you view my gallery, you'll notice that I switch off between the classic and the modern, depending on the host (I make my own hybrids).
I really like this, it may just be a demonstration of the facts, but you're pretty good at capturing them.
You did forget the big spike on the back of the original, though.

I think the third is best, because he just does not look humanoid. The others always look like costumes.

if you think about it the avp aliens arent as evolved thats why the ones from the alien series are stronger and more humaniod they had more time to evolve and so did the human hosts

I'm glad somebody noticed, the first two were my fav. I mean, a part of Giger's psychology is for his figures ot have human elements - if it were just monsters fucking monsters there would be no shock, but monsters that look like humans getting dirty, you got shock
I like the AVP one the least, blame the grid carved across his beautiful domy head.

I really find that interesting...or if they use humans for breeding they turn more human and if they use predator or other species...
This one with the predator at the end...you know what i mean? The baby alien looked really more predator like

The one in the first movie was a drone, the ones in the second film are Praetors (queen guards), the 3rd film is a quadrupedal drone (they take up host DNA), 4th film they were Praetors again. And AVP they just made they weirder for the sake of it.

they are so funny... they really branched off with them... they made bull-aliens, gorilla-aliens, panther, snake, spider, rhino... etc... they look kinda stupid 
and then there's different predators too

I have to say that I prefer the AVP one myself. I think the further is it form humanoid, the better. Makes it seem all the more alien really.
And yeah, ridged heads get to me as well. I prefer the smooth one they gave the creature in the first movie.

I love how you can see through it in certain light... and you see into the skull beneath... the skull is like, white... and it actually has humanlike eyesockets and stuff

And yes, I like the human-like Xenomorphs, but I have actually grown fond of the AVP-style ones. Well, the style from the first AVP movie, ridged heads slightly annoy me.

my friend LOVES aliens to death... but she HATES the ones from the first AVP movie... she can't stand their short heads... I like the babyness of the one from the first alien
