My only fear is how will the show handle Marco and Jackie's break up, because let's face it, it's obvious that Star and Marco will come together in the end. Seeing as how they are the leading roles and them becoming a couple is storytelling 101. Where as Jackie who's basically a background character is more or less a speed bump in said outcome.
I can already see this going one of two ways; first off Marco spends so much time helping Star fight Ludo and trying to get the book/Glossaryck back that Jackie feels neglected and ultimately dumps Marco.
Second Star's jealousy causes her magic to go out of control causing both her and her power goes crazy. At which point Marco learns that the only way to save Star, and keep her from destroying the world, is to reciprocate her feelings. So Marco dumps Jackie for the greater good.
Sure they'll sugar coat it by saying that Marco starts to realize that he also has feelings for Star, but that's just to lessen the blow of Jackie dumping him or vice versa.
