This is right before they're separated for 6 months. Ines is begging Quasimodo not to go out into Paris to help Phoebus. He promises he'll come right back and leaves regardless. He wouldn't be the man she loved if he stayed but she's furious regardless. He's only gone maybe an hour when Notre Dame falls and Ines and a very pregnant Esmeralda are forced to flee.

For 6 months they don't know if their husbands are dead or alive. And likewise for Phoebus and Quasimodo.

Makes for a really sweet reunion though!
