Yeah. I also thought Vanity was the original one. They seem to have chosen pride to express a larger area of the sin, since vanity is more about the way one thinks how good he/she looks

We all have a certain level of PRIDE in ourself. Nothing wrong with it. But only a few of us - like you, my son - is understanding the thing. From your work here, i realised that you egnowledge the dark site of the most tempting Sin in the human world.

Congrates on winning. It looks nice, but I can't help but feel her hand holding the mirror is way too far away from her.

I like it. It has a clear concept, the viewer sees what the woman -- beautiful in worldly terms -- really looks like consumed with her pride (at least that is how I interpret the silver demon, in fact I think you could have dropped its "wrath" label). It is also well designed to be taken in as a billboard: attention-getting, with an image that stays with you long after you have scene it. Finally, the picture as a whole, with its custom and stock elements, are technically well represented and integrated. I've looked at hundreds of entries, and I agree with the judges on this one. Great job!

It's almost scary when you think about it. I mean, we humans ourselves are prideful creatures who refuses to give in to anything. Even admitting for ones mistake is difficult for us O.O But either way, this is definitely worthy to be the first place of the Deadly Sins contest
