A new illustration in coming that I am thinking of painting with gouache ! I'm quite scared of that medium to be honest xD the inspiration comes from the first book I've ever read in my life: "Mon bel oranger" ("my sweet orange tree") that one of Zotco 's submission reminded me of a bit (www.deviantart.com/zotco/art/W… )
The story is about Zézé, a young brazilian boy, very intelligent yet very poor and unlucky, who talks to an orange tree just as he would to a friend. A beautiful story that touched me a great deal because I was the same age as Zézé and climbing trees was one of my passion Let's hope this will turn out ok ! (the final piece will not be about Zézé though)
