The story with this photo is very simple: I was in the car talking to Vanille when I saw HIM... Snow... hugging my Sis... so not thinking to much (actually trying to think like Light) I jumped out of the car, ran towards them and the rest you can see on the photo.
Assume everyone was kinda suprised with this action but Martin took it as a chance to make some wonderfull photos.

That's just sooooooo awesome, I get a little thrill every time I hear about or see people who are able to get into character so well! It gives me something to work towards.

what I love most about this picture is how you mastered lightning's expressions. Many people would probably just think "oh tis another normal look" - but its deeper than that when I look at this pic. You seem to have crafted the dislike she has for Snow and also seems to convey all her emotions in the single expression, which, as a fellow cosplayer I know how hard it can be sometimes to get right (believe me!)
Kudos to you man, well done! Then again, I may just be reading too much into it, but at least that should tell you I like it then

You're definitely not reading to much. You are right there in every single word, I worked for a very long time on Lights emotions and how to bring them up them with my face - Light's face is very calm, most of the game she has same one expression, the changes are very slight but you can read the emotions in her eyes. Some of the photos turned out better some of them not so good, but that's natural I think.
I was actually very afraid before all the people arrived that it's gonna be weird not to like Snow (I didn't know him at all!) and love Serah so much (didn't know her either!) same as have respect for Fang. But it turned out quite well, the gyus jumped into their roles immediately and were very understanding, we were just all on the right places.
I am very happy with your comment, thank you once more - it means my (OUR) work paid off if!

haha I know exactly what you mean! often when I am asked to take photos with batman cosplayers we also get asked to act scenes from the dark knight. I understand where you're coming from when you say its weird cos you dont know them, but nevertheless they are always a pleasure to work with!

and I read your recent journal too - I believe you can pull off Claire just as well. I've had people say the same trashy shit to me too, about being terrible at the character, but I'm glad you're going to prove them wrong! You are great at the character you've chosen. Well, I think so anyway
