When is a body not a body? When is something that we are so familiar with becomes something different? When is it that we can look at something so familiar yet suddenly feel like we are looking at it for the first time?

Well that is exactly what is happening here. You have arranged this models pose in such a way as to create some really marvelous shapes that we didn't necessarily realize a body was capable of making... And the composition is fascinating.

The simplicity of it is disarming. Perhaps that is what knocks off center and catches us so off guard.

You force us to look at explore and deal with those hands with their intricate tangle of fingers, but that serves as a distraction as well as a door way into this photo. The rest is there to explore, and I dare anyone to not spend less than ten minutes looking at this image. I don't think you will get tired of it in that time.

Absolutely beautiful. The title and the focus draw to the hands, yet the face, even if out of focus, manages to lead us to it with a feeling of sadness or maybe loneliness; the nakedness only emphasizing the vulnerability of this creature. Yet the backglow may suggest otherwise!
