Episode 1, Page 1 of DAMNADAS -The Run-

My second try to create a comic (or a Graphic Novel... That sounds waaaay more artistic, didn't it? )

Created in DAZ-Studio and PaintShop Pro X4.
I try a new style here by using the Bleach Bypass -filters of PSP X4... The result reminds me a little bit to the style of the movie "300"
And as i did it already in "Liquifying Love", this comic will be rendered in some kind of "reduced quality" to got a faster workflow. Means: Rendering only with deep shadow-maps, standard-lighting and simpler post-production. Normally i need about one to two weeks to create a new picture, sometimes more. But for a comic with about 3 to 10 panels for each page i can't work so accurate but slow. With the "quick'n dirty"-workflow i need only about 7 to 14 days for finishing a complete page.
The work on this comic based on the Pareto Principle — also known as the 80/20 Rule — is the idea that 80% of results stem from 20% of the effort: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareto_p… and on the other side it means that the last 20% of results need about 80% of effort.

I don't know, how many pages the final story will have. I devided them into episodes, and every episode shall have about 5 to 20 pages or so... I guess, in the end it will have about 60 to 80 pages.
