Took OVER 18 hours to render... a hard wait, with built in anxiety, not knowing if I'd have to do it a second time. And 18 hrs IS a long wait, but nothing compared to what you're going through... You're a strong woman being able to hold it all together so well... Much admiration goes out to you.

18 hours omg! that is a long time to render I think the most I have ever done was 8 hours
but soon got it solved A cool tip if you want it - on the formula window at the bottom
there a place call max iterations you can change that to a lower number sometimes it will help speed
the render time up what you do is set the number lower by 5s or 10s
and then render if the image goes blank like at 20 set it to 30 and so on
it helps very much you can do the same
for the dIFS also you just have 2 boxes make sure both numbers are the same

I think it's because I have the Ray Step multiplier set at 0.03... to get rid of the grainy spots, and other deficiencies. It's slow, but it works! I'll try your idea next. Thank you for everything... your kind support and friendship.

Oh! yes I see what you mean I always do mine on a high render it take a lot of noise out
also you can uncheck the 3 boxes Normals on DE
First step Random
and the raystep sub DEstop
sometimes this helps also or in the nave play around with the Rbailout slider some also
it also helps.
