Maya's in love with dem spots- its a weakness of hers. Went from dread and saw LA and was like oh yes good sir, let me nuzzle your
fluff.

Story Time: (200+ words)

Drake and Maya were out for their morning flight, looking for prey to bring home to drake's slow growing flock of birds. As Maya flew she cooed happily, the wind pushing through her feathers as Drake's eyes stayed peeled for any signs of movement below. At the first sign they dove but Maya had her eyes on something more than the frantically running deer. Drake looked confused as Maya landed in front of a large male Royal, dark golden browns in color, Maya spread her wings over joyful. A male. A handsome large male. Maya instantly went to the startled male and began to nuzzle his name was dread.

Though as she did she saw something colorful sitting a few trees away. Her golden eyes changed focused. Spots. Oh spots. Her chirps only got louder as Drake was dragged through the wood toward a much larger colorful bird. Oh no. It was harpia. Drake tried to get Maya away but as he did Maya only jumped and in a mere instant he was thrown off. LA looked down in confusion to the sudden attention from a female. Dread pushed through the bushes confused as to why he'd be rejected. As Drake fell to his back LA's owner returned to check on him.
