This is a great twist. ♥ I love seeing these, they seem kinda difficult to do in most 3d software since stuff like twisting and self-collision and deformation tend to go poorly, and you pull them off so nicely... ♥
do you use trickery with custom mesh stuff, some sort of deform mesh thing, or trickery with blending custom models baked into shape...~?
please keep up the beautiful work, and perhaps one day consider making or pointing to a tutorial for these methods~ even though i'm not by any means a 3d person, i love trying new things. ♥
