Thats really cool,  I wouldn't know how to make something like that. Was it made with a 3d printer? It looks like it works like a treat

Yeah, Used a 3d printer for it. And it does work quite well. It also fits on my 100mm. To bad i only got the 270EX and not the 270EX II, the later one can be used with the 7D as remote trigger. Would same me a cable connection.

That's really cool , I have been watching 3d printers with great interest. It is like the star trek replicator is already here! I love my flash too, I went for the ceaper option though and bought a yongnuo flash

Same here. Always wanted to print something, but didn't know what. This was my first. It's great for this sort of thing.

I beleive Yongnuo makes very decent flashes. Got their remote triggers and a flash cable. They do work well and seems well made.

They are well made indeed. I am very happy with my one and can't see myself ever getting a different make.

One of the reasons i upgraded a flash was recycle time. I first used an old canon flash, and that was dead slow. Apart from that, if it gives a flash i'm happy

Oh NO!!! I feel the pain

By the way ,when I said that my new canon mpe-65 was easier than my microscope lens to use,I didn't mean it was " easy!" lol . It is just a little easier as I can adjust the magnification to find and frame the subject better and also crucially I can stop it down unlike my microscope lens. I have alot to learn with this new marvel
