Description
I'm really proud of this one. I just got a graphics tablet a few weeks ago and did some simple pieces so I could get used to it. This is the first more complex work I've attempted with it. It took a long time, and not a little frustration, but I think it came out well. It, of course, depicts characters from my novel THE F.I.R.E. TEAM ALPHA SERIES

Getting used to a tablet can be a bit of a challenge! You did a great job on their suits, but I think something happened with perspective on the man in the back; I think it has to do with how close to the wall the man in the forefront is, giving him a squished look.
You also did a solid job on those guns and with your choice of colors, good job!

Thanks for commenting.
There was more of learning curve than I thought for the tablet, but I think I've got it worried.

You should be proud - love the suits, the poses, and the designs.
You will get use to the tablet my friend - just be patient - but if you ever need pointers, just ask
Only weakness - no action, like sparks or shots exchanged - aside that - brilliant

Thanks so much for the comment and the kind words.
I had experimented with waving the hand gun used by the figure in the foreground being fired, but being a gun-gun, I realized that, since the weapon has a suppressor, (that's the big tube on the muzzle often referred to erroneously as a silencer.) Therefore, since the suppressor it interned to suppress both the muzzle flash and sound form the gun's discharge, there would be no sparks from a muzzle flash. I thought about putting a shell casing being ejected from the action, but that would have been so tiny most folks wouldn't have seen it.
One of the things that took me the longest to do on this piece was getting his hands and arms right for the front figures Weaver firing stance; and that's still a little off. I get a bit obsessive about details like that. I think I got that from one of my artistic idols Dick Kramer, who puts out amazing military themed artwork.

Well sir, I am here to help if ever needed - after all you allowed me into your group and so forth
I also understand the details issue - we all want to make it work and to seen feesable. Me I am doing my utmost to perfect human poses and stuff.
Oh and thanks for the tip - Dick Kramer - very handy
