Looks pretty cool. Is this a life drawing or from imagination? And if from imagination, how do you approach the leaves, like do you imagine a certain leaf pattern and texturized the top of the tree?Ā

Something in between actually. Like, I saw pine and such plants for many times and observed how do smaller brushes form the whole shape, and also I scan many artists and check their approach (Yang Qi is my favorite! check out these pines www.artstation.com/artwork/A2nā¦ ) and try it in pen.
