This is awesome. I really like the leather texture and how subtle the depth within that area is.
I think if you could step up the realism on the various buttons and silver side "vents" I think that might step it up.

The BAD
Hmm the main shape still needs a lot of work.
Textures look too strong in areas.
navigation buttons need a soft drop shadow for more depth.
Logo looks awful, hard to read, poor effects, looks rough and jaggered
Using blue for the main preview background, isn't a good idea, a nice dark grey would look so much nicer mate.
The GOOD
The bottom power button looks awesome bro.
Nice shading for the inside sections.
Main player toggle looks pretty good.
Love the glass effect and lighting with the navigation backgrounds for "previous" and "next" track.

The main shape looks a bit weird, but if you could see the concept, and where it should be used (in a car), than this actually would fit :/
Textures: do you mean the leather area outside? Any idea of how to improve that?
Drop shadow for navigation buttons: so that it looks more "pressed" is that right?
Logo: totally sharing your opinion
Background: You were totally right, dark grey/blue would look better than this.
