Soviet scout... again. I'll be redoing some of the crappier characters in my gallery. I'm happier with this than with the original one [link] . The gun is a german MP40, I thought it would be cool to give a captured weapon to a soldier who works behind enemy lines.Photoshop CS3

Apparently it was very rare that Soviet Troops used German guns. They risked getting shot by their own side who may have mistaken them for Germans (they saw the outline of a German gun, and opened up). The fact that the Soviet guns were compatible with some German ammo, and the Soviet Guns were often regarded as better were also factors.

Yet the Germans would use Russian weapons like the PPHS.

A rain cape can be great for camo, as it obscures the human shape. During some exercises during my military service, we realised that a guy wearing a cape could pretty much disappear, kneeling or crouching among rocks and other irregularities on a cloudy day.

Yup, good choice to take MP-40, easy to find ammos for it behind enemy lines! Nice work as always man!
