I am curious about how many people was the habitant of the first floor for how many years? ...And what made you to move to the second floor?
Nice shot, thanks for sharing my friend

Thank you for the question, I was waiting for that.
This is a concept, we were never living in this house, but during some years I lived not long away and was passing it by.
It is true that some few prominent people (not me) were once living in such circumstances, but now they live in a penthouse somewhere in Manhattan.  On the other hand, unfortunately, many still eke out existence in such kind of houses on the first or the second floor, which is actually not much better... the world is divided into many simple and poor and few rich...
...but the house itself is quite pretty; and that you for your interest

I ranted  2-bedroom appartment  on the 1st floor of same biulding in Karelia ( northern Russian Federation), due to business trips. This is really isn't comfortable because ceilngs and floors are wooden too and when a neghboor walked above  the steps are well heard.

Modern buildings are so perfect for our comfort my friend. So everybody wants to live on new builded and nicely designed houses. But they seem so soulless to me. When someone lives in a house or wears a jacket then that object earns a level because it add something to the life of a human.
So when I plan to go out for a photo safari, I always target to capture such houses. That's why the object on the lovely photograph impressed me much. So happy to see it from your view finder
Please take very good care of you and hope to meet you soon on your latest submission

Thank you, you are right

But would you agree that it could be a different viewpoint of the photographer, who loves such objects (like me, you, and others who fave it)  and of the one who has to live inside and do not have another choice...

Of course...
the best thing I like to compare the ideas and viewpoints. Some times a group of my friends are gathering together and going out to a phot safari. We all like the same styles and same kind of objects. But at the end of the day when we show the photos we captured we are all noticing that the the object in the photograph is same, ok but the composition with that object is so different from each others...
