I went to a lot of work on the details, just you you all could enjoy them.I love Krazy Kat, by the way. The beautiful, quirky abstracted southern landscape constantly shifting was such an amazing idea. George herriman was an amazing artist- if you haven't read Krazy Kat, Check it out- [link]
All of the KK books published by fantagraphics are absolutely beautiful.
I guess this piece could be seen as a mesa at sunset...

Wow- I really like this. It's very different and abstract, and I especially love the design that embedded in the sky. I didn't notice that at first but it was a nice surprise when I saw it
I'm not sure how to critique this- since it's in such a different and new style. All I can say is that there might be too much empty space at the bottom, maybe cut off half an inch or a quarter of an inch. That way, it doesn't take away too much from the sky (the darker color draws my eye there first, then to the rest of the picture when in reality, you want the eye to be drawn towards the sky first, right? Or am I wrong... haha). Other than that, great job on this style. I really like it, it's sort of peaceful.
