ABSTRACT! It's so nice. It's probably the most relaxing art form ever. I love it.

Is it weird that I think this looks exactly like my old neighbourhood?
Hm.
well anyway, I love the colour choices . I wish I knew more about abstract art so that I could praise you in a more sophisticated way, but there you go.

It's great that this reminds you of somewhere- that's the great thing about abstract. It can mean so many different things to different people. It's one of the most open-ended art forms ever, in terms of interpretation.

Excellently done. This has alot of feeling and movement with just a hint of sophistication to make one think. I would call this a more classic looking piece simply because it doesn't seem so digitized and computer aided. Great Job.

Well, thank you so much. I agree, although I'm producing this digitally, it has a much more organic, traditional feel to it.

Yeah, it's completely painted in Photoshop, actually.

Yeah, the colours, I thought of Midna and... whats-his-name, the villain from Twilight Princess. o:

Music with a strong beat seems to work well- I draw to the rhythm of the music. I usually am much looser and intuitive with music I can tap my foot to. Slower music is better for detailed work, peppier music for design and flowing lines. Hope that helps.

Ah that was the one I faved I remeber!
Yeah I love the colors and the shades seem like something really strong, like a bomb attack or a battle or something. The shapes in the upper left side remind me of houses, so it probaply could be a village become damaged by a vulcanig eruption.
The cylindric form brings me to another way to look at it. It could be a electrical generation station or an animal laboratory in that case I would say the red shapes would seem to be a protest march. :3 I think I could even go on and on with ways to interpret it. ^__^

To be honest, I'm not thinking of anything real when I'm painting abstract. I only am looking at color, design, emotion and expression. When I start thinking about actually painting something real, i don't do good abstract...in fact I do everything I can to just work instinctually, and not try to think logically about it at all. I play loud music, watch movies, listen to talk radio- my abstract comes from distraction and instinct, not from strict planning. I make much better art this way.

a sure I don't thought that way... so I have to change my question a bit...
what music u heard when u worked at that picture? or what kind of mood you had? Cause I guess that's what goes in such a picture than just the full emotion of everything around u and affects u.

Of course, not to say that abstract doesn't require a artistic background! It relies on instinct, but for your instincts to be good you have to train in the arts. Abstract sure isn't a good place to start, if you want to do well.
Anyway, that was kind of a long response...I guess I like talking about my art.
You've done some abstract, I see (Jackson Pollak Tribute), where you thinking about anything specific when you did that, or did you just rely on instinct?
