Who would not want to follow her? She looks cute and quite upbeat. ^^

She clearly enjoys the fresh air on her bare torso. Also, that loincloth outlines her cute butt too.

You think up such interesting scenes! This narrative involves the viewer more than ever before. I love the detail in the strap, all those shells! The undulating landscape in the background is completely transporting - such natural colors! What is that vertical to her left, a tree stump? Are those little blue things at her feet flying insects? (of what kind, or are they imaginary?) That's a nice detail! Anatomy-wise: right thumb looks a little cut off. Left forearm a little short; perhaps the hand could be reduced a bit at the base to allow more forearm. Left heel too wide and could come in sooner at the arch. Finally: Wow, so great to see that you're making your shadows cool colors now -- what an improvement, congrats!

Thanks very much!  I appreciate you taking the time to give this a close look  The vertical on the left is supposed to be a cliff, and the blue things are butterflies (no particular species).  Thanks for pointing out items for improvement; I figured this one would have more than the usual issues -- Just too much going on to keep track of it all.  :-p

Yeah, you are really upping the bar!! How exciting! And it feels like you're having a good time, too - letting loose!! How gratifying for an artist. I like that this woman is of a different body type than your usual. You're trying so many new things!

Hey this is really nice, I enjoy your soft colors quite a bit. I did notice 2 things, though. I think her ear (on our right), the placement is a little off, but you may have wanted it that way. Also I noticed the smaller waterfall on the left is detailed far more than the larger ones on the right. Apart from this I think you do very well capturing your scenes with the backgrounds used, this is a very beautiful piece of work! I love your characters!

Thanks very much!  This painting fell under the "bit off more than I could chew" category, but I wanted to see how closely I could match my mental picture.  I haven't painted many waterfalls before, but I have always been fascinated by how some artists can really capture the look of water in motion.  So this was kind of an experiment in that direction.  --There's room for improvement, as you point out!    I agree about the ear / ears as well -- It's always the one on the far side of the head that I misplace -- I think it's a subconscious design thing, but it's not exactly accurate!  Anyhow, thanks very much for looking this over; your perspective definitely helps!
