[8/10/2001 updated: This is the one that gets printed! New leafes/New Light/Sharper]There were several long discussion about the name "Emploding Sunflower" as people were murmuring to spell it "(i)mploding", well we then agreed to leave it (e)mploding, and blamed it on the artistic freedom, and some (imaginary) intentions which are better represented by an heavily (e)mploding sunflower, (like saying (e)mploding is a softer form of (i)mploding).
Anyway, as I said then, I left the title as it was ...

this is probably the only image that manages to stay on my dekstop. the colors, the lighting, everything is just right. It is nicely centered, and can work in any resolution I might be using. Great job, def. deserves a DD award!

THis is the first time i've seen this piece and I'm glad I did, absolutely gorgeous... I love the blue steel effect of the petals, and the way the center looks really like a microphone of sorts... and using my favorite color... man you know me to well (hehe)

I am not writing this comment as an act of reciprocation. i mean i know you said really nice comments on my work but when i saw this in your deviation, i have to click it. I really like the color and the lights. looks like a stage and i can imagine the ice maiden slowly emerges from the centre of the flower. a favs.

the image was made at a res of 13500x9000 pixel (72 dpi) - so u can wash away any concerns of low quality or an unsharp, interploated image. And the size u can order this up to should therefore be sufficient too.
The quality of the print i recieved for verification was outstanding, on my room wall now, probably forever...

OHH MY GOD!!!...this is what I said O.L. when I saw your image under the daily deviation section on the right hand side of the screen as you do. It pulled me away from what I was doing, just thought I'd let you know. Also I thought I'd heard the name before, I only looked at your work yesterday - The "blood on the dance floor" piece. I admired that deviation so much that it's my wallpaper.
So It was cool when I discovered that this piece is also by you. Very good glowing effects on this, something I'm wanting to learn and develop myself actually.

It looks pretty damn awesome. The shapes are well done as is the ray of lighting. I really like this, and feel that it could easily be incorporated into a much more grand project of some sort.

That's sooo purty...The light that comes out of it reminds me of Chocobo's Dungeon, cos whenever you do a magic spell, this light comes out from beneath Chocobo...Beleive you me, if you're being compared to a game made by Squaresoft, you're really good! ^_^.
And sunflowers are really purty...Me like the colors you used...I wish someone would use purple... ;_;

this is a beautiful piece-i've had it for a long time now...though it does make me wonder about the choosing of dd's-is it worthy absolutely-is it fair to give 2 dd's to one artist so close together?i believe not.deci sions like this keep the "DD CONTROVERSY" alive and kickin just when it appeared that it was settling down...i dunno guys.PLEA SE dont take this to heart andidas,i am not disparaging your work in any way. ;p
