"The spirit of chaos, Discord is a Draconequus, a rare beast with a pony head and a body comprised of many creatures. He once ruled Equestria, creating chaos and disharmony, making it a wretched place for everypony. He was once imprisoned in stone by Princesses Celestia and Luna but later broke free to cause trouble again. However, once the Mane Six helped Discord experience the true power of friendship, showing him that it was more important than chaos, he became their friend. He might not be perfect, but he's trying his best and that's all anypony can hope for!"

Here he is: The Spirit of Chaos himself Discord! Once this kooky, whacky, unpredictable, mixed-up being threatened to bring about an eternity of disharmony and unrest in all of Equestria. However, after Princesses Celestia and Luna imprisioned him in stone with the Elements of Harmony and again by the Mane Six, he returned but came to learn the value of friendship. And even though he still has a tendency to cause trouble and mischief, it no longer means he's evil, but that he has his own way of helping the world. Such a chaotic being can't always be the way you want him to be. Predictability isn't his thing. At least being the very embodiment of chaos, back when he was a villain, by turning every situation he could find into a chaotic joke, turning all of Equestria into some sort of bizarro fun-house, corrupting the Mane Six into going against their morals and becoming the opposite of their elements, and enjoying it all, he never thought that life ever makes sense. To see that life is meaningless, it's like he's also the spirit of nihilism, at least according to Deathfirebrony .

Discord was once my favorite villain in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Once he reformed, however, he became my favorite reformed villain, until Sunset Shimmer came along. I know a lot of Bronies slowly lost interest in him recently, but he's made a huge impact in the cartoon and in our lives. Even his voice actor, John De Lancie, was inspired to be involved in the Brony fandom since his character's debut. I'll always enjoy the antics of this mismashed trickster. In fact, if were up to me, I would've vouched for his redemption. I, however, prefer him and Fluttershy to stay friends.
