Commission for =mree for her website, Fuzz Academy! [link] !! C: (which is currently in use on the site, go see it!)Anyone who loves the environment and the cute little fuzzy creatures who inhabit it should definitely join this site. =mree is amazing in how she is helping the WWF and all the other environmental organizations that are out there

Anyway, back to the map.
I had a lot of fun experimenting with some new coloring techniques for this map, and i think they worked out decently well
The trees, for me, where the most difficult to get a handle on, but they came out a great success. x)The locations on the map were also meant to be oversized, so they would be easier to view. I tried making everything look proportionate without actually having it so :U
15+ hours of work.

I absolutely love this work. For mountains & houses, did you draw the outlines first and after colorize it with brushes (or vectors?), or did you start with colors and after you draw outlines ? Are they hand made or this is a outline filter of 1px grey ? Thank you man for your help !

Seriously, this map is just so wonderful! The details are spectacular, and the colours so vivid! The landscape you have depicted here is the kind of world I would like to see from my window: witty and peculiar, one possible to roam for days and still remain intrigued!

Heh heh. Looks like a world map you'd see in some RPG. Curiously, the hand-drawn variety rarely make it in-game, usually being shuffled away to the instruction booklet or some obscure website. :-/
