I worked with wonder and excitement on it - it is one of my first drawings on paper, and I was still very afraid to touch the paper, but very excited at the same time and always amazed by what came out. Even though it had lots of mistakes, I absolutely loved the feeling while trying to imagine her real

I was looking at it and wondered what I can do to pull it completely out of the zone where it was - in my mind always connected to the corrections. And since I had a cup of warm tasty coffee in front of me   ...it felt like adding some of it to the drawing

Thank you! I thought of that also, but I have no idea how to do that(yet) I'll think of something and maybe add some elements to it. In this piece I had lots of difficultiess with the symetries, and I modified it over and over again many times. I almost put it in the trash bin, but I discovered so many things working on it, that I feel very connected to it now Even if it is unfinished and it is somewhere in between things/places/stages

Because from technical point of view I did a lot of mistakes, and my logical mind was telling me to start over, while at the same time I was feeling stronger and stronger connected to it. It is like a vicious cycle. After that I actually started over several times with another portriat, and guess what? the best one is still the first one, even if I deleted thousand times! And it has some problems here and there. The energy is not the same in other versions, I cannot describe it. But while I was working on this piece I did not know how precious this initial impulse, feeling, unprocessed first redention is.
So I am glad I posted it!
