I'm drawing a lot with ballpoint pen to, but I never really get how I can create those very light grey aria's in the face, can you explain how to do that?? it's beautiful, thnx a lot!!!

Hello, it's not easy explain that, ^^! you have to be pacient and do part by part without hurry. your hand and pen have to pass soft on the paper, it's different to use pencil, in my opinion is very harder than pencil, but the effect in the end is more beautiful and realistic. the secret is the time you'll dedicate to do the art, don't have magic, just hard work. if you want i can teach you some tips, do you have facebook? look for André de Assis, i'm from Brazil, in the profile's photo i'm doing rapel, or send me a e-mail to: andre.assis@ghsupply.com.br

Just be patient, and do line by line with simple lines, and a time after you'll see the hair, leave the blank of the paper be the reflect, and put some lines alone to do the details!

of course i can share the type of paper i usually use, it's not a misterious, but i don't know if there where you live is the same name that is used here in brazil. A long time i use CANSON 120g or 240g in the sizes A4, A3 and sometimes A2, but to draw with Ballpen i'll change to another type, i don't know exactly what paper use, i'm looking for one which has a smooth surface, becouse i'll be able to make more details without problem.
i saw your gallery and i think you're a exelent artist.
But don't forget a thing: Is not the best tools that make a good artist, the best artists are those who make the best with simple tools, they just need of inspiration and the heart. keep it in you mind!

tenho uma dica muito valiosa para você que esta começando no DeviantArt agora,
vai no meu meu perfil e acesse meu jornal, tem uma postagem lá de um grupo do deviant que ajuda você a ganhar acessos e comments e Watchs, só vai depender de você.
Eu ja usei, e só não uso mais por falta de tempo, é só você entrar no grupo e seguir as instruções, os seus acessos aumentam significativamente de acordo com seus acessos em outras contas do grupo que você acessa por meio de uma ferramenta.
