I'm still thinking that this couple has way too much of an age difference (Thousands? Tens of thousands?)for me to love it completely. Maybe the fact that they want each other bothers me. That just puts me off from being a solid fan of Aku/Blossom. I still love this picture though, Andy! ^^ It's nothing against you or Askura, I just can't wrap my head around that concept.

I have to answer this for the sake of answering it XD
Um, the age difference with that will probably be with ANY Aku pairing, give or take a few years. If you go by the time he arrived on Earth, it would be approximately 65 million years. If you go by the time of 'creation' it would be approximately 200-400 years we're talking (assuming Jack is from the Edo period).
Blossom was born as a five year old, but had a birthday in Birthday Bash, therefore making her six. Another episode, Crazy Mixed Up Puffs, gave her another birthday, in which she turned 7. As no other birthdays were shown we can assume she is this age.
However Blossom is one of the most mature, level-headed people in her town, not to mention the smartest. She could easily pass as an adult if she had an adult body. A very advanced, genius adult.
As both shows are cartoons it really doesn't matter. But as always, you can age a character. I never do this for various reasons...but other artists usually do. And even with that, it doesn't matter.
Also about the wanting thing...since it's a crosspairing it's open to interpretation.
