This seems like it has a cool plot (though I don't know any context, since I stumbled upon this page, and haven't come close to reading from chapter one), and I like the "aura" effects. However, I really think you should study poses and use references, because your current poses are really stiff and lifeless. It actually kind of looks like you were trying to use a 3D rendering program in 2D. Hope this helps.
