Description The Big Fall

This is the biggest fall of the gorge. It's much bigger than it looks here - there might be a 30ft drop down that hole. The water is shooting out with an incredible speed and it's really loud there.
Because of the power there are a lot of tiny water drops in the air and I had about 5 seconds of time between cleaning the polarizer and pressing the shutter - after that the filter was full of little drops.

Hmm thats cool. The depth perception throws you off. You can't figure out if its a big water fall or a small one. Good shot.

It's bigger than it looks due to the wide-angle lens.

Wow! When I first look at it, it really doesn't look like 30 ft! Only several ft!

Yep ... had to use the wide-angle cause the rock walls are quite confined.

Yeah ... it was a bit wet to set it all up ... but after all was done a finally cleaning of the filter and one click got me what I wanted.

I would give up my damn beaches anytime for those lone trees in Ingmar Wesseman's photos!
