Now this is a sight to behold. Seeing this, it won't be surprising that some people will agree to the notion that you've captured your "theme" especially, that the somewhat snowy background is a reflection of the old mountain range that can be found north of Italy.Β
The castle Β that is in the centerfold, not so sure if it was based on fact or a creation of your own but it truly gives a sense of mystique to the entire piece. Kinda like those in medieval or fantasy related genre we tend to watch in the media.
Overall, you made on heck of a masterpiece.

Very beautiful composition and lighting - particularly the fore-and background contrast makes a lot!!

This is wow.
One thing related to perspective: I suggest to make the vertical lines to convert somewhere at the top, not at the bottom. Not sure it is better, but seems more natural for me.

Doesn't that depend on if you are watching downwards or upwards?Β

Good idea. Maybe this was the author's intention.
But when we do the perspective, objects with the same dimensions in reality, in drawing will be smaller with the distance.
In given case, I think the distance from us to top of towers is larger than distance from us to bottom of towers, right?
I ask because I want to learn more on how to do a good perspective in a complex situation like this. Maybe Andreas can told us something about how he sees it.
