I could just imagine the discussion between those two.
Although the thing about big-ass holes in the ground, is how far down it goes. Just a little bit is fine, if to the point where you can't see the bottom, standard operating procedure is run-the-hell-away. Something always has to crawl out of it if you can't see the bottom.
